Traffic begins to backup along the western leg of BNSF Seligman Subdivision as track work ties up the eastbound main track from Valentine (MP 485) to Walapai (MP 499). As result, tracks work signal tracking through the area. Here, the Kingman local slowly moves closer to the red signal at E. Valentine as the second to last eastbound, the Barstow to Kansas City manifest, charges up the hill after running through the track work area. With one more eastbound behind the manifest, soon the parade of westbound trains will head down the hill towards Kingman.
