The class UP C40-8, and the first one ever built is seen outside the fence at Mid-America Car. It carries the GE builder number 45549 and was built in November 1987. It's wearing its second coat of UP yellow with the lightning stripe, and was applied in 2005, but it still retains the big factory plow.
