Remarks & Notes
One of the Delaware & Hudson’s big U33C’s leads a southbound Belden Hill detour train west on Conrail’s Southern Tier line. The station at Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, also known as the Starrucca House, was built by the Erie in 1863, and originally served as a combination station, hotel, and dining room. The station was in the final stages of renovation at the time of this photo.
