Remarks & Notes
There’s quite a variety of power to be seen in this 1992 view of the area outside of Conrail’s Juniata shops. Beside the front-and-center E8’s used on Office Car Specials, the Conrail model list includes SW7, SD40, U36C, SW1200, U30C, GP8, GP10, GP35, GP40, GP38-2, and U23B, most if not all slated for scrapping or rebuilding/resale. Adding a little more variety are a BN U30C, and two CSX GP38-2’s.
