Jewel in the Crown. This stained glass skylight in the concourse of the old City Hall Station is emblematic of the Jewel in the Crown moniker given to this hidden NYC gem. Although this station has not seen a revenue train since 1945, City Hall Station still receives plenty of visitors on a yearly basis as it remains a popular tourist attraction among train enthusiasts.
