SEPTA's sole ALP-44, No. 2308, arrives at the upper deck of Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. The unit was one of 33 built by Asea Brown Boveri of Sweden between 1989 and 1997. Of those, 32 went to NJT, all of which were since retired making No. 2308 the last of its kind. Comcast's new skyscraper, the Comcast Technology Center rises in the distance. Towering in at 1,121 feet when completed in 2018, it will be the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere outside of Manhattan and Chicago.
