As the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society former Nickel Plate Railroad 2-8-4 Berkshire #765 leads the afternoon trip of the Joliet Rocket to LaSalle Street Station in Chicago, IL on 6/17/2017 through the station in Blue Island, IL, we were the recipients of some very good luck. Iowa Interstate Railroad 513 (Rock Island Heritage, ES44AC) has wandered out of the yard and is in position for a combo shot with the excursion train, making for a unique heritage-heritage tribute meet.
