Remarks & Notes

On July 18, Amtrak operated a special trip in conjunction with New England Central, CN and various government officials from the US and Canada, to inspect the route from St. Albans, Vermont to Montreal, Quebec. The train is seen crossing the lower portion of Lake Champlain on what was once a gauntlet trestle at East Alburgh, Vermont with Amtrak P42 101 leading a cafe car and the American View Viewliner theater car.
