PRR K4 1361's boiler and firebox sit on an old Norfolk Southern flat car inside the 7 stall "Harry & Rebecca Bennett Memorial Roundhouse" at the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Pennsylvania. A rumor circulated early on, and again last year with regards to *some* progress being made towards a renewed restoration to operation effort, albeit possibly at decreased pressure requirements (to avoid the need for a new compliant firebox) and in consequence, operation at lower speeds. Never the less, this view has seen little change since late September of 2015 when the boiler returned to Altoona from a short stint at the East Broad Top shops between 2013 and 2015, and of course, its stay at Scranton at Steamtown from 1996 to 2013.
