Honorning America's Veterans Cabbage Style Warming itself in the morning light, AMTK 90208, poses on the original, 1927-built Redondo turntable prior to taking part in its official unveiling ceremony. Still smelling of fresh paint since its overhaul at Amtrak's Beech Grove shops that transformed the non-powered control unit into a masterpiece honoring our nation's veterans, the 90208 adorns a pair of Santa Fe 3751 American flags donated by the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society (SBRHS) for the ceremony. The following day, Veterans Day 2015, the unit would enter its first day of revenue service in its new paint scheme serving along the entire length of the LOSSAN corridor.
