Due to a shortage of cab cars due to PTC installations, many of the plethora of work motors on NJ Transit's roster have been put back into revenue service for the time being to serve as cab cars on the east end of trains. Seen here, eastbound from Suffern, #1160, is seen enter Westmont Station with former CNJ GP40P #4102 leading, while fellow former CNJ sister #4100 is shoving on the west end, making this the "CNJ Scoot."
