One of Tennessee Valley Railroad recent purchase is this Baldwin Locomotive Work VO-1000, that has some what of a foggy history from the time it was retired in the 60s, and 1970s from the Frisco Railroad . The paint scheme, and black out logo says it all on who was the recent owners, as it was one of many locomotive that was purchase by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) til it was retired, and purchase by TVRM. From my understanding the VO-1000 is retro fitted with a EMD prime mover, and also was told that this unit was going to be repainted back into it's Frisco Railroad paint scheme, but letter in Tennessee Valley.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
