Visiting Triclops. A rare sight in the greater Columbia, SC area, a UP triclops heads through Alston, SC at the head of an intermodal train taking brand new BMWs down the historic Southern/NS W Line to the Port of Charleston for export overseas. The photo was taken approximately at the location of a small, old Southern station that once sat between the W Line and what was the V Line to the west that has long since been abandoned and converted to a trail.
