| Most of the Appalachian & Ohio's motive power consists of leased GMTX GPs, as evident in this July 2017 view of the inbound mixed freight passing an additional set of light GMTX units waiting for Beech Mountain empties. In late 2017, the A&O exchanged some of its lease power for company-owned Paducah & Louisville green-and-black locomotives. |
