Remarks & Notes
And it was said, let there be light! UP 2673 breaks through the morning mist at Monolith and into the first light of the day as it leads a Roseville-West Colton manifest downgrade from the summit of Tehachapi.

The reason railpictures.net has captured my imagination for so many years. Images of quality and distinction, in other words, amazing railroad photography.

What California is known for. Fires, droughts, weed, and people waving rainbow flags. Yah. Great place alright. At least the trains are nice.

Tier IV locomotives are the safest, cleanest, and most fuel efficient locomotives on the rails today. Unfortunately, most of them are ugly and are as quiet as an ACS-64.
