I never thought I would see a tunnel motor in action, so imagine my surprise when I came across CORP 4047, a former Southern Pacific SD40T-2 now flagged for the Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad and operating on the Kyle Railroad with KYLE 8041, a former Burlington Northern SD40-2. We caught this train late in the evening in the small town of Genoa on our way back from the Limon area where we chased the storm in the background, which dropped no less than 7 tornadoes on the eastern plains of Colorado (no damage). It was a great day!
