With the iconic downtown Los Angeles skyline just around the corner, BNSF 8342 leads the BNSF Railway 2018 "Roaming the American West" business car special around Metrolink's Central Maintenance Facility and closer to Amtrak's 8th Street Yard. Following its successful run from Oakland to Los Angeles over Union Pacific's famed coast line, the train will layover in Amtrak's yard tonight before making an early morning departure the following morning for Albuquerque, New Mexico. Making up this train are 16 of the Class I's exclusive business car fleet along with the phenomenally restored and operated Creative Charter private cars, which can be seen standing out against the rest of the train wearing their smooth blue and white paint.
