| The San Joaquin Goes Surfing. Looking somewhat out of place along the coast line, CDTX 2051 and three San Joaquin/Capitol Corridor coaches bring up the rear of Amtrak 761 as it leaves Ventura. The extra equipment is only a third of what was sent down to Los Angeles to assist Southern Californian's looking to travel between Santa Barbara and Carpinteria after deadly mudslides closed all of US 101 in Montecino. |
