Remarks & Notes |
Even Rescuers Need Rescuing. It's a chilly evening in downtown Los Angeles as the sound of two freight motors idling fills the air. Sitting out of place in what is arguably the busiest train station on the west coast, BNSF 4202 and BNSF 6652 are seen with the AMTK 184 after leading the first eastbound Southwest Chief of out Chicago in the new year into its final destination...over 8 hours late. At one point during the train's extended trip the BNSF 6652, which had replaced one of the train's two P42's, also developed mechanical issues leading to the addition of the 4202. |
