Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Engineer Steve Otten looks back on his train, the President’s Special, that’s preparing to depart Durango, Colorado, on August 15, 2015. Mr. Otten made his last run on sister locomotive No. 476 on March 2, 2019, and retired after working on D&SNG from 1988 to 2019. Friends and family turned out to see K-28 No. 476 named in honor of him on that last run. Congratulations, Steve!
