The Rapids turn departs Carlton after dropping off a car at the industry, leading is an ex BN SD40-2, still in it's original paint. Searchlights still guard the junction, but a couple days after this photo was taken, replacements showed up, not activated yet. How long do they have? Only time will tell I suppose.
