For celebrating 175 years railway in Switzerland (1847 to 2022), two locomotives with a special paint scheme (adhesives) were presented 10 days ago. The Re 460 # 019 has a picture of an "ICN" (Intercity Neigezug) tiliting train, leaving the 57 kilometer long Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT), on one side. On this side, there is a picture of the first steamtrain, the "Spanisch Brötli Bahn" between Zürich and Baden and an old painting of the Zürich main station in the early years. The locomotive is entering Brig in front of the IR 1709 of the line IR 90 from Geneva Airport via Lausanne-Sion to Brig, a push pull train with standard cars type IV. It was the very first train, which the locomotive pulled in the new paint scheme. The locomotive has raised the front pantograph, as prescribed for the protection of the windshield of the following cab car (sparks).
