| UP suffered a major derailment on their Mason City Sub at Hampton, IA on Labor Day. While clean up takes place the Iowa Northern has taken a bunch of southbound detours from Manly to Cedar Rapids for the UP. This type of detour hasn't happened too many times the past 30 years. Its interesting to see big time trains on the IANR. Thanks to a completely oil covered leader, this was the only shot I got of him. The otherside was terrible! |
