There's no operator or agent in the window to greet trains, such as this single locomotive moving westbound, but at least the former Minneapolis & St Louis Railway depot still stands in Fairfax, MN. Perhaps more amazingly, the railroad is still active, owned by the Minnesota Valley Regional Rail Authority, which is made up of the counties along the line, and operated under the Twin Cities & Western subsidiary Minnesota Prairie Line.
