Bonne cliche, Pierre! This late-production MP15AC is one of a handful on the Port's roster thoughtfully equipped to function as an emergency generator for Montreal's extensive deepsea marine terminals, especially the time-sensitive container terminals, during power power failures. Just in front of the cab at the walkway level can be seen the outlets for the current. These units proved to be of enormous strategic importance for the Port during the extended crisis stemming from the massive ice storm of January 1998, allowing terminal operations to continue with minimal interruption.
