Sorry to say but you are mistaken. About 2 or 3 years ago they changed the directions on UP's Mojave sub from East/West to North/South. It took me a year or two to get used to it. Raylewis

sorry, you were right! =) I was just in tehachapi, and in bealville, a UP intermodel stalled and had to bring in an aditional engine from a westbound(southbound?) mixed UP freight and switched the engines. This operation took about 45 minutes of hogging up the line, and was great fun. sorry again about the comment. =) -BNSF SAMMY
