With the squared-off cab roof this is a GP-11 re-built at the Illinois Central's Paducah, KY shops. They re-built older GP-7 and GP-9 locomotives into GP-11 models with upgraded electrical controls and the Horst airfilters.

Yes, I'd agree, It looks to be of Illinois Central Heritage by the paint, and by the placement of the OL logo

Well, that loco seems to be pretty far away from the shops of the C&NC railroad, In Connersville, IN.
