Thats the BARSDG-- Train is heading from Barstow to San Diego. The fact that the rear end is covered by what looks like 2 DPUs give it away. Suprisingly enough San Diego has a serious grade coming in of 2.5. And the trains coming in here always are loaded heavy with 2 DPUs bringing up the rear. Good Shot! Did the dispatcher use the 3rd main much?

Hi Tim, Thanks for the comment and train symbol information. Yup, those are indeed a pair of DPU's bring up the rear of the train. That day the dispatcher had MofW equipment working Martinez siding, but almost every other time I've been up to the pass there's usually a train parked in there waiting to head down the pass.
