Hopefully to running condition - the Pioneer Zephyr is 3 floors underground below a parking garage! What were the planners thinking, locking the train that revolutionized train travel where you can hardly enjoy it?!

WOW! she looks great. The team has done a great job.
Guess what though? One of her few sister units is for sale (or at least it was). The CB&Q Mark Twain Zephyr was to be placed "mid way" on the Chicago / Denver line at Fairfield, Iowa. I haven't found out yet if this did or will happen. Imagine what it would be like having two "Zephyr" unit saved, with at least one working again.
