Too bad for these locomotives. They would be great for a museum or for a private individual. I know I would buy these locomotive if I won the lottery.

Actually, the 1753 and one F9B were donated to a museum in Alberta. One other unit went to a museum in British Columbia and the rest were bought by Pioneer Rail. So far a happy ending for the F units.

1753 and her sister, 1762 were both picked up by the Alberta Railway Museum just norh of Edmonton. She now sports a fresh new look and will see use for years to come, even if it only runs a few miles each direction.
