Look at the locomotive in the center window. This was probably the greatest of the post Amtrak Day trains.

The locomotive in the center window is the switcher that attached the car to the rear of the consist in Atlanta. Ahead of the dome were six stainless steel passenger cars and four green and white e-units. I have some views from the Dome of the consist on curves, but, taken through the window, they are not RP.net quality.

And between the Blue Bird and the Crescent, this car did yoeman service on the Nancy Hanks II, bringing folks back to Savannah in the pitch blackness! Great ride on the Hanks and the Crescent!
