I'm sure I'm probably the only person to say this but I'm glad to see the CCT getting "newer" locomotives to replace there ancient RI GP18's and GP7's because it shows that while they may be little they are doing well enough that they can afford to upgrade to at least the 645 powered units.

LOL, yes by "newer" power you mean upgrading to something only 3 and a half decades years old not half a century old! The CCT 1501 is the former SP 2610, the CCT 1504 is the former SP 2567 I just like this angle because these guys still retain that SP look even if "lobotomized" with the offset headlight plated post-SPSF failed merger era. Come to think of it, that CCT red would look good on any locomotive...
