Why is such a magnificant passenger terminal in such a congested area sitting unused? For 40 years yet, sad.

Would be the perfect location for the URHS Museum if they would get their act together. Cant ask for a better historic rail site in the state.

Love seeing the various stops. Especially the Westfield stop where I lived in those days. Now a long time Illinois resident.

I can't even believe after all that time that the signs are still there!

I was at this place last year, the complex is used to board the ferries that take you to the Statue of Liberty. If I remember correctly, there is a CNJ Boxcar and Caboose on display outside the building.

I would prefer that they would restore this place to serve Jersey City again but on the other hand, there is some sort of mysterious and eerie feeling looking at dead weeds growing were there were once trains serving a bustling station that I have yet to see elsewhere.

The Raritan Clocker would have some trouble following its route nowadays because the rail bridge between Bayonne and Elizabeth hasnt existed for over 40 years.
