Fantastic color and lighting, Lloyd. I didn't notice the speck of light until I read your remark. It definitely adds more depth when you realize the light speck is the end of the tunnel.

Very interesting pic. Thanks for posting. I agree it is a little creepy, and also cool. The part that I think is amazing is that the tunnel is graffiti free. Neat find!

GREAT, GREAT PHOTO Loyd!!!! I like how you mentioned the little speck of light that is the end or I would have never noticed it. As a matter of fact, i thought something was on my computer screen and I tried to wipe it off but it was the end of the tunnel. Truly an amazing picture! Best I've seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing.

To the one who asked what Railroad owned this. Answer: Chesapeake & Ohio Railway built the tunnel and used it.

We visit this tunnel every year and my Mom stares down this tunnel. She wants to walk in it but we sense that it would be unsafe. It sparks your sense of adventure and makes you believe anything is possible. She thinks that it should be included in a ghost mystery novel. We have not entered it. We always choose safety while trainspotting.
