They'll use the third rail electric once they hit the hudson tunnel. Posted by Damian Clement on September 29, 2007  Doubt very much they'll be using third rail since they don't have that capability. Presume there will be an NJT electric on one end of the train and they'll turn the train at Atlantic City and again at New York? Posted by Kyle Tribianni on February 23, 2008  I heard NJT P40's will lead test runs of NJT's new "Casino Express" from NYP to Atlantic City. I don't know anything about third rail, but they're a nice addition to New Jersey Transit's fleet.
