The class 52 "Westerns" were always my favourite diesel-hydraulic - and especially suited to the maroon rather than the later British Rail corporate blue livery. Nice to know that it's still possible to see one - albeit with a 'split personality!' - out on the main line where they belong... thanks for posting Stu
