I thought the UP had pretty much agreed with Amtrak not to delay trains (which is the law in the first place) that much anymore, what did Uncle Pete do this time?

I believe on this particular day a semi truck had decided to leave its payload hanging over the tracks at a grade crossing in Salinas. The Lead Amtrak loco was too damaged from the collision to continue so the UP engine was called up from SLO. Cool Catch though!
