Thank you for this melancholy shot of this forgotten but once beautiful Rock Island combine...makes me think of it at work during WW2 for some reason with our men going to and from their assignments, duffles stacked up front.

I'll echo the sentiments of both comments above. An amazing find and one that makes you not only wonder as to how the combine got lost in time, but also draws you back to the glory days of the Rock Island. Y'know, either that, or you wonder how admin let a PEQ slip through the cracks again. Wonderful image, Bill - thanks for sharing!
