Nicely composed picture. Not only do I love CPR SD40-'s, expecially with the old black and white stripes on the long end, but that GATX unit was one of my "children" when I worked for GATX. It brings back a lot of memories. The unit was overhauled by the CN at Montreal and our usual practice at that time was to paint the running boards white. But CN used the gold reflective material on their own units and suggested it to us. I said yes, and in addition to its increased visibility safety feature, I thought the contrasting yellow looked cool. Our CMO was pissed at me though because it was more expensive and out of his budget!
