Yeah,thats usually the kiss of death on CN.
If it's spruced up,it's done for.
Great Engines,sorry to see them go.

The cab wasn't the only thing freshly painted. The who engine was repainted.

Retired? 5289 has been working the L546 Squamish Switcher all this week.
