Where in Strasburg, PA is that? Kidding, nice to see the real deal, a good 'ol fashion CN noodled caboose. Nice catch.

Great lighting, nice catch.

Very nice - unusual shot and pretty atmospheric.

That's quite a catch...CN cabeese did not often have yellow cupolas...the ones that did, were often on (you guessed it) work train service. So, not only did you catch a Caboose which is rare to begin with, you captured a rare CN Caboose.

And the SD50F appears to be running long hood forward to boot. Pretty cool!
|
It was SD60F 5503, shoving the train. I'm not sure what they did when they got to their destination. Not only that, the 5503 still has traces of its original 9903 number on the rear of the unit!
|
5503 is a SD50AF which is a SD50 with the 710 Diesel Engine. It's essentially a SD60.

Sweet location for a spot of light!
