These engines are going to be cool, but I am afraid that they might end up scrapping a lot of the older models, meaning getting rid of the GP11 they still have, or there entire fleet of GP38-2's.

Interesting that a railroad with an all EMD roster has chosen to buy new GE's. I wonder what deal GE cut for IAIS. Are they an "add-on" to the back of someone elses order perhaps? Either way it certainly means the end of their classic EMD roster.

Nice shot. They sure stand out in primer, eh? I like that railroads are trying to modernize. Not to mention that the crews will probably love these things. Air conditioning, comfy seats, the whole works.

Looks like something find on a model railroad. I like how the water tower is is still there and how NS puts the logo on the shop. Lots to see here.
