Soooooo.....how'd you guys get out of the park AB? I've been concerned about getting trapped there a few times myself. They lock up pretty quickly after close. Note to self: Add a pair of bolt cutters to the "railfan kit" LOL!

No need to laugh, I've carried a pair of chain/bolt cutters with me for years and they've saved me on more than one occasion.

Ah, a pain all railfans can identify with! Another good railfan investment - a 2 ton floor jack. Pretty compact, they're only about thirty bucks, and would have a Dodge sedan up in about thirty seconds. Just keep in the trunk next to your boltcutters and hedgeclippers.

It's always good to have company on those long trips away from home just in case you run into mechanical difficulties as such - otherwise, could you imagine if your brother went alone - why, he'd have to change the flat AND take that picture all by himself. Bonus points for the reflection shot on the fender.

I've always considered my younger brother to be my servant. Change that tire and do it now!
