Good thing you got pics of her like this now. She's going back in the shop to have the RailAmerica lettering on the long hood replaced with Florida East Coast, and the FEC logos replaced with RA logos.

I realy liked that old scheme over this one.

Thanks RailAmerica for ruining one of america's oldest and most succesful regional. I guess the paint scheme is decent but the older scheme was far better, I like that they kept the FEC logo on the front, i wish that wasnt getting replaced.

I agree i liked the Alaska Railroad looking paint scheme better. Nice photo tho.

Alright, it's 1976 all over again! Yes, glad to see she will go back in to the paint shop to have the FEC name live on BUT that horrible contrasting yellow reflective frame stripe has got to go. RailAmerica, what's the problem with using the FRA compliant reflective white stripe?!?

Nice shot, Thomas, and thanks for sharing. But man I think I really hate this paint scheme. Can't think of a good thing to say about it, although the pone behind this one looks better. I hate that RA got FEC, I hate the FEC got 70M-2s and I hate that they're not painting them like the smaller GPs. Might need to head to Florida soon to shoot the little ones while they still have them.

What a shame for FEC; Fail America is known for running their properties into the ground. FEC would have been much better off had NS bought them. Nice photo!

I like it better than the Alaska scheme but the green paint was the best. I hope TP&W gets one of these.

The yellow reflective tape on the frame looks weird. FRA allows the railroads to use either yellow or white. White would have looked much better.

I hope nobody takes this the wrong way but...eeeewwwww! Bring back the blue & yellow please!!!

The paint doesn't look to bad. It's to bad RA has to be a part of it. Just to let everyone know FRA's new standard is yellow reflective only so no more white.

Neither black or white looks good on the under frame, they should paint the under frame silver.
