Nice shot Brad, do you know if this engine is named for Excelsior Springs Missouri? I live near Polo, MO so I get to see a few IC&E/CP on the Trenton Sub.

The DM&E named units for towns served by the railroad and continued this tradition on the IC&E. So unless there is another Excelsior Springs served by the ICE, I'd say it is for the town in Missouri.
