ATSF 91 has a very rich history. Built in 1967, she went through five numbers on the ATSF, and just as many paint schemes, from the Roman Text Scheme, to the Kodachrome, and finally the Super Fleet scheme. But it doesn't stop there, ATSF 91 made it onto the Wisconsin Central roster. She was added to WCs large 45 model roster in 1995, along with a large order of SD45s from ATSF. Her last coat of paint would be the attractive WC Z stripe in her final number, WC 6652. She would run under the WC name for 6 years. After the CN takeover WC 6652 didn't last long, and this cowl unit was sold to Larry's Truck and Electric. She sat there for a number of years until she got cut up in April of 2005.
