This is the last image of the CNW 57 aka CGW 57 I have seen. The final disposition/location is not certain. Although Huron or Oelwein tend to be the final location for many locomotives during this time. . (Note: 57 was in Oelwein Feb.10.1973) Some records indicate Apr.17.1973 as the retired date. Sept 1973 the all weather window is removed as well as the front glass on the front door. We cannot see the horn from this view. Imagine the miles and the stories this RS2 could only tell.
