Okay, a Phase I GP9 without dynamic brakes, but with an oversized, after-market, brake wheel, to mimic Canadian production-Geeps, but devoid of its rear number boards, and having two stacks, typical of a 16-567 engine, complete with a CN-style spark-arrestors, but without the forward radiator section and fans that particular oil engine would require for adequate cooling. Needless to say, I am very curious about 8701's origins and modifications! But, it is a very nice shot of a clean unit in the snow, Chris.
