I don't believe the remote DPU came until the 90's. Must have been a kick to witness lash ups like this. I've really enjoyed the Rio Grande series you've been sharing.

Brett 173: These are manned helpers. That's what the Grande did for it's total exisistance. You really have to LOVE the sound of all those EMDs!
