Also in 1984, Norcross was just a town that was close to Atlanta, not another extension of it!

Southern paid extra for those high hoods. Now Norfolk Southern is paying the Altoona shop employees to install new standard low hoods that are built by an outside contractor, and in some cases a completely new cab. Of course management always knows best, that's why they make the big bucks.
